That's interesting, it does not say anything about that in the migration note
for the T25 (I can see the problem with the T45 and T85)
Good to know from someone that has been bitten :-)

Without knowing what I'm talking about here, I would simply have a 
T25 programmer
with the 2 wires reversed :-) and the chip in compatibility mode.
Of course it all depends on how and where the chips get programmed......

Just as well you don't spec the "POPULAR" 68HC05 or 68HC11, try
to get a pin compatible device there after billions on chips
were sold and who knows how many products were designed around
them.
