Still unable to post to group

Still unable to post to group

2008-03-31 by steamphreaque

This is the message I am getting from yahoogroups. I changed my
email address onyahoogroups from inetnebr.com to inebraska.com because
inetneb.com was causing the same problem. I am told by my ISP
(Internet Nebraska) that the two are synonymous, and either will
result in correct delivery of email. I am receiving all the email
posted to the group, so why can I not post via email?

Receiving email from the group and posting to the group via email are
two diffierent issues. The email from the group can go through a
number of forwarders (as you might have set up) and still arrive at
your email client. You have full control over that.

As for emailing to the group, Yahoo says "You can only post messages
from the primary address you specified when you joined a group. You
can't post using any other email addresses." This means that
the "From" address in your email client has to match that by which the
Yahoo group knows you. Depending on how you've set things up this may
be difficult and/or undesireable.
