I believe the MkII has the same MSRP as the MkI  i.e, $299. They'll find it
difficult to sell the Mk1's now so you can expect to see it heavily
discounted to unload stock, but it's difficult to see how you could
criticize Atmel for producing a better version of a product, selling it for
the same price and obsolescing the old one.  Sounds reasonable to me...
