Magnetic Card Reader

Guys, I am looking for some information on designing a magnetic card reader, the card I refer to is not the normal one magnetic tape strip kind, and not a smart card either. The one I want is the entire card is made of thin plastic; however we can re use it over and over again!!! Does anyone have any information on this???
