Hi Philippe,

I use www.schaeffer-ag.de for front panel design.

They have some parts that allow you to make the rest of the box if you want
a simple chassis type setup. I prefer to use on off the shelf plastic
enclosure which often comes with a metal front and then simply replace the
metal front with the Schaeffer one. This works out much cheaper overall.

Note that they can offer press in bushes and threads on the rear of the
front panel. This feature is not in their software but if you look in the
support section of the website there is a reference to this. Prices for them
are in the software though.

With very little effort you can make some really nice looking professional
finished designs with them.

I have used them to create all the front panels for my designs. See here.
(they also do Perspex which I used for the Nixie clock)

Good luck.

Dave.

PS.. I use Alibre Design to do the initial 3D modelling and then create the
panel in FPE from Schaeffer. This way I can make sure that it fits. Hammond
Manufacturing offer 3D models of most of their enclosures which you can then
make you panel for. Have fun!
