Query about @Web PSTN board

Sir,
We have purchased @Web PSTN board of Atmel.There is Demo
program already there on board
We have some queries about the Demo program as follows.
1.We want to know how the demo program is working.
2.When there is phone call made to the @Web PSTN board,the board makes
a phone call to the configured ISP(or to a remote PPP/SLIP server).
e want to know that is it necessary to have internet connection.
3.We want to write code for modem interface with T89C51AC2 controller
on the board can you provide us the algorithm for that.
4.We also want to to use the TCP/IP library provided with the board.
