I must have missed something on this thread. What's
happening of such astonishing interest...well OK I
have never seen a Mega 48 before but I was expecting
it to be born.....

That's what make the world so splendid.  For some, the Mega48 is just a mere
result of natural technology development, for others it could be saving
their necks.  The Mega48 is just the missing step in the middle of the
option list.  The projects being developed around that particular position
in the list, now have a nice extra choice.  When your project involves half
a million parts, 30 cents less per part can represent a new house, car, etc,
that's the astonishing interest.
