RE: [AVR-Chat] reading list of books

Try
"Teach Yourself C in 24 Hours" by Tony Zhang. Very helpful. It's
published by Sams. I bought it in a major chain bookstore, and it's
available at Amazon. As a graduate EE with limited programming in my
formal education, I empathisize. But fret not, you should do
fine. At its core, it's the same structured logical thinking process
you would apply to digital design.
Good
luck!

Subject: [AVR-Chat] reading list of books
I am just starting out and need to get a book or two to start off. I
took a class in C++ and used basic and fortran a long time ago but
need to get a book that starts off simple. Hardware is not much of a
problem but the software is.
Any recommendations. I tried a search here on recommended books and
got nothing so any pointers would be appreciated.
thanks
Jim
