Hello,

I want begin microntroller project that have more than 8k like atmega8, 
in my country atmega32 is more cheap than atmega16, I reviewed the data 
sheet and saw that the atmega32 have more memory and one external 
interrupt than atmega16, so what are other important characterictics  
between atmega16 and atmega32?, are another characteristics for 
diferent prices?, why more cheap atmega32? I will work with DIP package.

As long as the ATmega32 is in a DIP package and its cheaper, just go for it.

That's strange though, in indonesia ATmega32 is more expensive. What
country do you live in?

I live in Mexico and I dont Know why is less dear, but I want known 
if exist important diferences between atmega16 and atmega32(more 
memory of course), in datasheet I read atmega16 is like atmega32, Im 
right?
