ATmega8535 to flash disk memory

Hi all,

how can I write and read in/from flash disk memory (USB) dirrectly and without any prepheral chip?

How can I write data as a text file in it?

Can't do it. 

CompactFlash or Smartmedia are MUCH easier to control, and can be done with little or no external
components.

If you really want USB, use one of these :
