AVR Studio 4.8 SP1 USART support

Hi guys, How do we simulate the data being received by the USART in AVR studio 4.8 ? I have read the help file, but do not know how to do it: UART/USARTS The UART/USART is supported by the Simulator. The UART/USART interrupt vectors and the Receive/Transmit pins are set up as described in the part description .xml file. Writing to the UART Data Register (UDR) will not initiate a data transfer. The Data Register must be written by the target application. That is ok for Tx, but what about Rx ?
