AT76C712 is a cut down AVR 2 8 bit ports, a few 3 bit ports and a USB 
node :)

BUT HEY 48Mhz this could be the answer to some projects :)

   Good luck getting your hands on them.  No vendor we can locate 
carries the AT76C1* chips, and Atmel will neither sample them nor offer 
pricing information.  Apparently, they are only interested in moving 
them in lots of 10K or more pieces.   )-:

Have a look at the new AVR USB parts, they will be supplying both EVB's and 
practical quantities to distis. As Tom stated the AT76 bits were only a bulk 
order part.
