Hi Les I have the MAX485EESA which is almost the same as the MAX487 but the problem is that the EESA is a SO8 I did some projects that i made an adapter to switch between the two. If it is ok with you just let me know..... I am leving in Israel so you will have to think if you have the time to wait for it. tzif
