USB Enumeration

2007-05-02 by kernels_nz

Hi guys,

Has anybody ever looked at USB enumeration and actually using
bit-banged USB on a microcontroller without a built in USB interface ?
Im just wondering whether it is within the realms of possibility ...

There is bit-banged USB software for a Tiny2313 AVR.

Hein,

Here are a couple of bookmarks of mine:

http://www.xs4all.nl/~dicks/avr/usbtiny/
http://www.harbaum.org/till/lcd2usb/index.shtml
http://www.fischl.de/avrusbboot/
http://www.obdev.at/products/avrusb/index.html

I can't speak to the quality of the information,
though. The idea intrigued me and I did a bit of 'Net
surfing. Haven't yet prototyped anything.
