mega2560 / WinAVR / Avr ICE-Cube

2007-05-18 by Phillip Vogel

It's been a while since I started a new AVR project, and I just want to be
sure that I'm not about to get in trouble.

Are there any known problems with using the combination of WinAVR, Ecros AVR
ICE-Cube (purchased late 2004) and ATMega2560?

Thanks,

Phillip

YES, the JTAG mk1 does NOT support the M2560 as you will be able to
see from the drop down menu of a JTAG ice device menu. You will need the
JTAG MK2 which are going cheap(er) at the moment because they want to clear
them out.

Possibly the upcoming STK600 or perhaps even a newer and cheaper
JTAG 2??
