Alesis Andromeda A6

Is it just me, or do the Andromeda's knobs not transmit midi control data? I have my 
Andy plugged into my unitor 8 and no midi light activity is present while twisting the 
knobs??

My o/s is the most recent posted on the Alesis web..

Any ideas?
