I have an A6 and a Micron. I use them for different things - the A6 is for the studio only, and the Micron I got for it's portability. I have always thought of the Ion (and Micron) as a sort of poor man's Andromeda. The architectures are similar, just scaled down, and of course virtual instead of real analog. Besides the portability, I can't think of any reason to get an Ion/Micron if you already have the A6. They work fine together. Now I just need to find a case for the Micron.
