this is similar to what happened to mine. i would leave it on quite a bit. it crashed at one point so i cycled power, came back... there was some hiss on the outputs, but no sounds and funny screen happenings. the thing eventually came back but would repete this behavior every couple of days. sadly, the thing doesn't do much anything anymore. most of the voices will pass the auto tune, but i can't get it to generate any sound aside from the ocasional rougue sin ramp. i've been wanting to send it off the new jersey to have it fixed, but i don't want one of the new problem boards. i think my vca's are blown... something like that anyway.

I hope that your's doesn't suffer the same fate.

That happend to me before. I had left the A6 on for a couple of days and this burn-in type of behavior occured. It went away eventually.

Hello,
I propably overloaded the Andromeda OS with a bit too much things
going on in the midi department, then it kind of hanged. I switched
the unit off, then back on. I went to do some other things. When I
came back I noticed some noise coming out of the outputs of the
Andromeda but it had not booted. There was a single black line in the
middle of the lcd display.
I switched the unit off, then back on. The line persisted. Andromeda
booted up, the line was still very visible.. I tried to search
previous posts about this thing but did not find anything.. Has anyone
experienced this?
Now propably 1,5 hours have gone, the line is not that visible anymore
if I adjust the contrast properly.
It would be sooo nice to have a more stable OS for this thing.
