Alesis Andromeda A6

It is sad to hear from you guys that the A6 is discontinued, but I am not
surprised after it has been neglected for so long, and they did not put out
any upgrades or improvements for it.

 

Alesis itself went through turmoil and filed for bankruptcy.

It felt like Numark, who acquired Alesis in 2001, wanted to milk the
brand/reputation and not put any investment into it, also because it is an
expensive synth to build (from what I've heard).

 

Anyway, stoppage of production has happened to the best synths
(unfortunately), and I hope to still see the A6s around for some time.
