Are most of you on Facebook?

I was thinking perhaps we could move this group there, since yahoo seems so ancient, and make this just an A6 group.
Sorry Ion guys, nothing against you but most people here seem to come for A6 info.

Perhaps fb would make our group more interactive, and we can learn much more about our members.

What do you think?

Thanks.

I would be ok with moving it there, though I don't like Facebook's policy of post promotion and having to pay money to reach a larger audience :^/

ProBoards would be a more convenient home, most of the other hardware groups have moved there all happy to co-exist in one online area, and an iPad app to boot.

Two A6's and an Ion here, mod of various Yahoo groups past and present,
and a "social network refuser". (Thanks to Barbara of Sequentix for that
reassuringly validating term.)

Even though Yahoo's not the current hot thing, it is a great info.
repository. I belong to dozens of gear groups for the convenience of
reference info, not interactivity.

I'm just piping up to represent the Facebook-avoidant and those who don't
follow the herd. If this group does migrate, I hope someone will do
occasional recaps and keep uploads current for the Yahoo'ers.

Facebook is over and doesn't know it yet. I know many knowledgable people who are not on fb and they all have email.

No offence, but fuck fb.

Another +1 for ProBoards, and a -1 for Facebook. I am on the verge of canceling my fb account if they roll out the auto-playing video ads they are promising for July.

Would have to agree w/ the arguments here against moving to Facebook. Full disclosure, I wouldn't fuck w/ FB if it was last form of communication on earth.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
