Dear Renga I have just uploaded the file (photo) to the "Files" place in the Andromeda_A6 Yahoo goup, its the new and also as it was before (the blue in the photo of the original A6 is not very natural). I have not sent it to the group because not everyone would love to spend time downloading the photo so you must go to the"Files", and its called something like "A6Old&New"...or something similar. Best, Paulo

Paulo, Your A6 looks great!!! Well done!!! It seems more now that the knobs look like stars lightning out from the deep dark space. And its name now takes all its sens!!! I talked with one of my friends from Paris. This guy is completely addicted to Analog. Pure fanatic. I asked him advise and he told me that the A6 woud fit to me very well becoz it's a "new" analog machine, enough voices and it has the best of new technologies (MIDI, Mod Matrix, Fxs, FM...) and 2 Filters / voice as i found nowaddays that this is important. Other analogs don't encounter my needs as i am used to work with VA synths. Anybody selling his A6??? ??? ??? =: D Moreno

Thanks Note that I "only" disassembled and afterwards assembled the darkBlue face plate, that was one of very few experimental (and not completely up to the final specs...had to make 2 holes) made to Alesis so that they could decide on the final version color scheme...when I saw Kris Aurora's I made my decision...I "could no longer stand my standart A6"...I realy never liked the looks (to much groovebox like...I really do not like silver equipment)...so I finaly got this faceplate...but it took a great deal of courage to start the transformation...but if Kris did that "crazy job" to its Aurora...why not try a much simpler job...and believe it or not I spend so much more time playing/programing the A6 now...its stupid but its true. Ps: in the states its not dificult to find a 2nd hand one, actualy I think that Kris (the Aurora author) its selling its second A6...as also Mark Pulver,...these are trusty sources, you can't go wrong. Hi all, I know that it is not difficult to find a 2nd hand one A6 in the US. but i informed myself about the border taxes to pay if i import such a "unit" here in europe. I would have to pay 15% for VAT taxes (even if it's a second hand machine???) and 3.2% for border taxes. Lol... So if i pay the unit 2500$ + 375 (15%) = 2875 + 92 (3.2%) = 2967$ I see that compared to a unit baught here it would be a waste... I could for some $/euros more, buy a new one... Arrrhhh Modern social life is soooo unfair!!! => ( Any ideas on how to avoid that??? I already thaught of some plan but kinda tricky and involves someone originary from the US, but temporarely here... Moreno
