Hello group

2003-02-22 by appegiator <appegiator@yahoo.com>

Well I signed up cuz a recently bought an Andy. I reconize a few
from the Waldrof list. I have XT, XTk Micro Q(the XTk was bought
from a friend in a financial pinch for a song). The other synths
are Yamaha S90, Ms2000r Korg OasysPci(now stand alone in a G-3)I run
Cubase SX on Xp. I tell ya, I love the Andromeda. I will still use
the other Va's, but come one. Some of the crap that has been throw
at the Andy at other Message boards, I don't understand it. I
really can tell the difference with the Analog filters, they are
great. Sure one needs to program so the ocillators don't distort
so. I quess I am just venting as I almost didn't buy this synth
from listening to some of the negatives. I do admit the curiosity
of why there is so much excitment over a new VA and not much said of
the Andy. I bought mine at Nova Music and it was very reasonable.
Since I am putting together a studio and have lots of new toys, I
only have so much time for programming. There doesn't seem to be a
patch exchange or very many sounds out there. Unless I am mistaken.
hey, have a good weekend

For more patches look on Alesis web site and on www.code404.com/a6/
There are quite a few patches on those two web sites.

Hey thanks Dan. I didn't know about the second site. I'll start
trying these sounds. Is there and patch or bank manager? One you
could arrange or organise the sounds, then transfer to the Andy?
