Alesis Andromeda A6

It certainly seems like it. The last projection was for a March 
release. With only a couple days left in this month we can assume the 
March date is history. No big deal. It's only an 8 voice synth 
anyway. Keep playing your JP-8000 and its 8 voices.

I don't know about June, but I'm contacting a dealer (telling him I 
want to buy one) and he tells me Alesis is telling him April. I hope 
so because that would be a nice Birthday present. I would pre-order, 
but I don't want to be out money and not have anything fo months. 
That doesn't make semse to me. I thought everyone else was saying 
April as well.

Several dealers and On-Line retailers I talked to said yes it has 
been pushed back to June  (or later). If you look at when Alesis said 
the QS 6.2 / 8.2 were suppose to ship and when they actually shipped 
last year, they were about 6 months late. Dealers are saying this has 
been typical of Alesis.

It is indeed typical of them. Look at the history of the Andromeda 
and you can find plenty of delays. For all we know June will turn 
into September. Such a long wait for an 8-voice unit? Sheesh!
