New to group

2001-09-06 by heroesforghosts@bendnet.com

I'm joining the group because,as of tomorrow,I'll be another A6
owner.I bought it Tues from a store in Indiana, one of the few places
that had any of the last shipment.I didn't feel lik waiting till late
Oct,or later,and got lucky and found one.My names Larry,and I've been
wanting the A6 since I heard of it.I've only been playing synths for
about 20 months, but have learned a lot since I got my first synth in
Dec 99.Since that first synth,I've been looking for the one perfect
synth that has many of the features of older, vintage synths. And one
that's not a dedicated dance machine(I have several of these),but
more like the Moogs, and Oberheims of years past.I wanted a synth that
could screaming leads,fatass basses,beautiful pad swells,and I'll see
tomorrow if it's the real deal. until later,Larry.

Hi Larry :)

I just picked up my A6 yesterday as well!

There is also another mailing list which is more active

http://www.code404.com/a6

The presets don't do the machine justice!

New to group

Salud!

I'm new to the group, thinking about buying an A6. I currently own a
Virus C Desktop and Nord Lead 2 (one has to go, I suppose). I already
read the recent Q/A6 thread, but I'm still not sure if it's worth the
price (I'm sure it is, but I don't know if it's a mistake for the
sound difference I'll get).

Do you know the best A6 price in Europe? 3275 euro (VAT included) so
far...

Thanks a lot.

K!
