alesis ION issues...

I am about to buy an alesis ION but I am a bit weary I have heard nothing but problems on the other ION yahoo group almost every post is about serious problems with their ION and not being able to contact alesis-I was wondering if you guys are having or have heard of issues with your IONs? thanks -Matt
