A good deal on Andy?

A good deal on Andy?

2004-08-26 by Chris Lilly

All,

There sure are a lot of cheap Andromeda's on ebay lately. The
prices are so low it seems like a scam.

Has anyone in the group been scammed on ebay with a low price Andy?

What is the LOWEST price you have bought an Andy on ebay and
actually received it?

dude,

i almost got scammed on eBay by someone offering a factory sealed
Andromeda for only $1700 after I contacted them about an Andromeda
being sold in an auction.

this person had like two different psuedo names and offered to sell
me two different Andromeda from 2 different eBay accounts with
Western Union wire transfer being the only method of payment.

The accounts used on eBay were rozer47 and memoriesofaseabreeze I
think. One account said the person was located in Colorado and the
other said California!

The name on the e-mail was Alexandra and I was asked to send the wire
payment to someone named Cynthia. And the wire transfer payment was
to be sent to Virginia and not Colorado or California!!

Whoever this person is, they're out to scam you.

Don't buy from them if you do purchase one on eBay!

I was able to find someone out in NY to sell me an Andromeda for
$2100 with shipping included.

I haven't came across a better deal on a factory sealed one yet.
Please post if you have.

Peace,
Doug

About a month ago I was interested in an A6 on eBay. It was listed
for only 24 hours with a buy now of $1500, and was described as in
mint condition. What was strange was that the seller's feedback was
hidden, and they said they would only accept a money order. It
seemed like a scam, but since they were in Virginia, only a couple
hours from me, I sent them an email and offered to drive down in
person to pick it up and pay in cash. I never received a response
and the auction ended with no one bidding. I suspect it was a scam.
