Want to mod my Ion like the Aurora

I am trying to find a shop near my home to make front panel thats going to fit with the Ion. I want to make a front panel that could tilt with wooden sides. Wheres the Aurora guy ? I wanted to se some pics of his attempt but its all gone. Anyone would recommend against this project for some reason ? (Like the fact that I could ruin my ion ?) thanks
