Alesis Andromeda A6

Hi guys,
There is a known bug related to mod wheel vibrato effects showing up in 
patches without doing anything, but I'm experiencing extreme behavior 
where my A6 sends weird MIDI output and touching the Mod wheel messes 
the patch settings totally and starts changing all kinds of parameter 
values.
I'm wondering if a hard reset would fix this problem, the hypothesis 
being that something stored in static RAM (if any) is restored, or 
could it be a hardware problem where the wheels are mechanically messed 
up and shorted or something. I have not really (ab)used the A6 so wear 
and tear may not be an issue.
Any ideas?

THE MODWHEEL POD IS DIRTY WHERE THE SIGNAL WOULD NOT PASS THOURGH IT 
PROPERLY

SO YOU HAVE TOO OPEN THE SIDE OF THE A6 AND SPRAY THE POD WITH 

CONTACT CLEANER

THIS FIXED THE MOD PROPLEM FOR ME

Thanks for your response. That is good news. I was going to try that 
but was not sure how risky it was.

I haven't really looked into opening the A6 yet, so do I need to only 
open the side or the bottom? How many screws, etc.?
