Few simple yet non-manual questions about A6.

Few simple yet non-manual questions about A6.

2002-06-29 by mirzabasic

Hi everyone,

Here I go with my questions straight away:

1. In the mixer mode is it possible to change MIDI channels from the
PC sequencer and without touching Andromeda like it is possible to so
with other synths?
2. The "VOICE OUTPUT" is switched off every time I change a sound,
making me having to press the "VOICE OUTPUT" button in order to hear
the sound from the 8 analogue outs. This is very annoying. Is there a
way of keeping this switched on?
3. When I select another synth to be played in the PC sequencer and
want to use Andromeda as a simple MIDI controller, Andromeda is not
muted, but keeps on playing, hence I need to switch off the "VOICE
OUTPUT" so I can only hear the other synth I am playing. Is there a
way of muting Andromeda when playing other synths in the setup?

I hope someone can answer at least some of these questions.

Cheers in advance.

Mirza

not sure if you found out yet..but at any rate.. to turn off the
keybard in the andromeda...go to global mode and turn the local
off...if that doesn't work under mix mode select the floder tab
mmm i think its key bard or control or something..(the first one)
and turn the keyboard off as a controller

Global: in one of the tabs...the one that has one of this options:
check MIDI (here the A6 just sends midi and only responds by midi), or
LOCMIDI(like above, but also responds to its keyboard) or else LOCAL (no
midi response).
