Re: [BossVF1] midi controller

Hey there. No one answering, so I'll throw in my 2 cents.
;
The VF-1 has a standard MIDI input on the back, so it'll work with all MIDI foot controllers capable of sending Program Change (PC) commands. In practise this means all of them. ;With a PC command pedal you change patches, like turning the knob on the VF-1 in play mode, except you can go to a patch without having to go through everything in between. A foot controller with Contiuous Controller (CC) capability can also be used, though you would have to tell the VF-1 where to look and set up your patch accordingly (which parameter you want to control and how). CCs almost always use a rocker pedal. Some foot pads may have trigger capability with which you can turn on/off specific effect modules in a patch, like you said. Again, for this to work you need to set up the VF-1 properly.
So... you might want to look for a MIDI foot pedal with all features you want. MIDI is always the same, everywhere, any time.
I hope this helps.
Joris.
