Hey dpowell,
Never heard of the problem you're having. The cause could be one of these:
- The vf-1 could be too close to your amp. Especially tube amps are known for their magnetic coupling to other devices, because they ;operate at high voltages, high power and are full of transformers
- You sure you hooked it up correctly? If you somehow connect the vf-1's input to its own output, it'll cry like a baby. Even if only a tiny part of the output comes back into the input. If you're using the unit in an effects loop, try using it in a preamp type setup and see.
My 2 cents.
Joris.

Subject: [BossVF1] feedback

hey there,
i just got a vf-1 and i'm using it live on stage as a guitar processor. i have a big problem with feedback. i'm getting really high end feedback and it's really ugly sounding, not like normal guitar feedback. i've changed different pieces of my setup just to make sure of the problem, and it seems to be the processor. anyone had any similar experience? anyone got any suggestions?
thanx,
dpowell
