Boss VF-1 Effect Processor

To those people who are looking on the rolandus.com site for the v1.12 
upgrade of the VF-1.  You can actually get it from the web page, just 
not from the machine that they direct you to... If you replace the IP-
address of the machine they are trying to do the download from with 
rolandus.com the download will start.   Specifically (for the PC 
version), the file is at 
http://rolandus.com/support/software/download/VF1v112.zip

for us macheads, the .sit version is 
http://rolandus.com/support/software/download/VF1v112.sit.hqx

I haven't noticed any major changes with this new version, as it is a 
minor upgrade from v1.10 (which added speaker modeling).  However, I 
haven't experienced any of the the freezes which I occasionally got 
with v1.10.  

Incidentally, in the real-time control assignment section, where you 
specify whether the control is Normal or Toggle, there is a new mode 
(at least I haven't noticed it before) called NRM(Tap).  I haven't been 
able to get this to respond any differently than the Normal mode... Any 
ideas?  Can we perhaps anticipate Tap-tempo in the future?
