Boss VF-1 Effect Processor

i was wondering how to create a user scale. it doesn't seem to be so 
straight forward. i'm exhausted trying so i thought i would ask. i 
want to create a new scale say c melodic minor whose spelling is:

c, d, e flat, f, g, a, b

i would really appreciate if someone could help.
