Boss VF-1 Effect Processor

Ok here we go:

The VF can send sysex data in the following "types":
ALL : Utility and Patch settings
UTILITY: on ly  the utility settings
PATCH: All User patches
TEMP: the current selected patch

How ??:

Press utility
choose "Midi"
press "enter"
Use the  <parameter>  buttons to select " Midi bulk dump"
Use the " value " knob to  select the syx data you want to send
Push the number/value knob

A message appears: "Bulk" Dump"
wait for the " complete " message and pres " utility again to return to 
the play mode.

For receiving sysex the procedure is pretty much the same except you 
have to selet "midi Bulk Load".
The message " now waiting " appears.
Start sending syx from Midi ox (or cubase or sonar/cakewalk) and the 
boss tells you  "Now Receiving"

Wait for the " complete " message
press " Utility"

That's it
