Boss VF-1 Effect Processor

Hi, I'm looking to buy a VF-1 as I've heard that for techno and industrial style vocals, it's the 
best that is affordable. Anybody looking to get rid of one, let me know. 

 A few questions.

 Is it possible with the VF-1 to use multiple FX at once of your own choic? Say Ring Mod + 
Chorus + Noise Gate + Reverb??? ( This is a patch I would like to use, so it's a good example. 
) 

Does the VF-1 accept beat clock for delay times? OK I'm pretty sure that's asking too much 
but what the hell? 

Is there any noticable pop or noise if you select a different preset while using the VF-1? 
I plan on sending preset changes via MIDI to the VF-1 while the singer plays....
