Boss VF-1 Effect Processor

further on from my previous query,i am able to save and load my own 
patches to the vf1,but the downloads from the groups files section do 
nothing,saying that the midi indicator in the left hand corner of the 
vf1 comes on during initialization,but no patch is obtained,i have 
checked all cables everything seems to be fine,the only other comment 
i have does midiox run on the new windows me version,that is my new 
operating system
