Marc,
Seriously, I don't understand. You got the GP-100,
which is the most versatile preamp in existence and has some effects on
board, and you got a G-force coming in. Now that G-force is effects heaven!
Why waste time on a toy like the VF-1? The GP-100 and the G-force together wipe
every setup off the face of the planet! And they should, costing 5 times as
much.
Maybe you should consider an Eventide, if you have that much money to
spend.
Joris.

I am changing my whole guitar setup to 19" and looking for a good
replacement for my GT-3. I tried the GP-100 (which is a very good
device) but it doesn't do the job.
I am a guitarist who does a lot of soundscaping and making over-the-
top effects and the amount of effects and possible combinations on
the GP-100 just doesn't do it.
I read the specifications of the VF-1 on the web and it looks
promising. It has twice the effects of the GT-3 and with the same
digital quality.
BTW, my setup is:
- Ibanez Universe guitars
- TC Electronic G-Force (I'll get in this week I hope)
- FC-200 Midi controller
- Digitech Whammy
- GR-33 guitar synth
- Morley Bad Horsie wah
- GP-100 (not for long I hope)
- GT-3 (not for long I hope)
Please advice if the VF-1 is an option. (Please don't advice the GT-6
as it is no option!! Only 19"!!)
Thanks!
Marc
