I understand that there is a battery in the Vf-1 somewhere. Does anyone know where and what it looks like? I cannot see it, but suspect it needs to be replaced. Thanks Jon in Australia

No Idea - you may want to call Roland for that one and ask them..there must be one though - it stores all the memory. _____

Roland is pretty good about stocking parts for old gear though it may not be too cheap. Cheers, Scott M2 http://www.ScottM2.com wordsoundartinstallations http://www.dreamSTATE.to ambientelectronicsoundscapes http://www.THEAMBiENTPiNG.com

I just googled it: http://www.bosscorp.co.jp/products/en/_support/faq.cfm?iCncd=356 <http://www.bosscorp.co.jp/products/en/_support/faq.cfm?iCncd=356&FAQ=EN04-0 7202&dsp=1&ln=en&iStcd=4> &FAQ=EN04-07202&dsp=1&ln=en&iStcd=4 they basically say - send it to Roland... but they do say it's a CR3232 - so I'm sure if you're feeling adventurous, crack it open and look for the battery...
