Real Time Sysex Control of VF1 Parameters?

Real Time Sysex Control of VF1 Parameters?

2015-01-05 by celab27@...

Hi all, I'm considering buying a VF-1, but need to know if you can control the VF-1 Effects parameters in real time using SYSEX?

I know that you can assign 4 groups mapped from Midi control changes to various effects parameters, but I'm wanting WAY more than 4. So it looks like sysex might work.

I have downloaded the VF-1 Editor and Midi Spec for the VF-1, so I have that information (that I got from the "Files" section of this group (Thanks to all who put that info there)). And I've snooped the MIDI output of the VF-1 Editor and can see the sysex is being sent from the Editor to the VF-1. The question is, can this be done whilst performing in a useful smooth way?

Thanks in advance,

Cheers :-)

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
