Boss VF-1 Effect Processor

hi all ;)

does the vf-1 have a gate effect??? and if so does it have an "input 
trigger" for creating those trance gate fx??

Use the slicer effect. It is tempo/pattern based gate fx
with a handful of settings to control its behavior. It is
just like the slicer on the MC505/SP808/GT3.

Ooops, I realized that the Slicer was not a patch itself, but that 
you can choose Slicer from the 'Mod' effect. So, if you choose Pb10 
Isolator, you can edit the patch to have a slicer in there too. Kewl, 
eh?
