Boss VF-1 Effect Processor

Hi all,

Sorry if this has been discussed here before, but how do you set the
VF-1 to pass midi through from the IN to the OUT jacks? I'm VERY
frustrated, because I bought two of these units for use on my Chapman
Stick and need to control them with my existing midi foot controller.

As far as I know the Midi Out is a Midi Out and not switchable to Midi Thru.
Bummer...., I'm sorry.

Go to www.midisolutions.com and you can find a nice little midi splitter there for about $100...

I did just that... but I bought it from Musician's Friend for $39 + apx. $5 
S&H.

I can't imagine what the engineers were thinking when they built this unit 
with no MIDI through... amazing. I can't complain, though, 'cause I got the 
units cheap, and they work great. (other than the MIDI bug, that is)

I think you can easily solve this just by using a midi splitter box. Since
the signal coming from the thru connection is an exact copy of your Œin¹
signal, you might as well split it before going in to the vf-1.
