Power adapter question

Power adapter question

2005-07-13 by Steve Mays

The VF-1 uses a 14v AC 800MA adapter. Unlike most adapters the output is
AC, not DC. Radio shack sells a 13V 800 MA adapter that, while being 1
volt off, should work. Only one way to find out though and Radio Shack
will usually take something back if you are careful with the packaging
and don't beat the adapter up. 1 volt shouldn't make a difference as the
unit will internally convert and regulate the voltage. The Shack part
number is 273-1631. Good luck.
