The Behringer manual is crap and is missing some vital info - the
Behringer also crapped out on me on stage so I went to a more simple
roland program changer on stage (I play several times a week)

I am trying to use a FCB1010 with a Boss VF-1 simply to switch banks,
patches and control volume. So far it is baffling to me. Mainly need
help how to configure the VF-1 to recognize an expression pedal on the
FCB1010. I was doing fine with a Digitech Control 8 and set the VF-1
to MIDI 7 for the expression pedal in each patch. But I like the 10
patch switches of the FCB1010 much better. Just need to get one of the
expression pedals going.

Thanks, David Spangler in Texas

Hi Mike!

You're looking for a simple program changer on stage - I use something like that. It's name is Nobels MF-1 Modo Controller, the picture of the device you can find on the VF-1 users' web-site http://photos.groups.yahoo.com/group/BossVF1/lst

The pedal is really simple to use and it works fine. It just does the job, changing the patches. You need to assign the patchh numbers to the pedals in the MIDI section of your VF-1, of course (It's easy, just read the directions of use).

I really don't know, is this pedal for sale in the US. I live in Finland and ordered it by Internet from a German ditsributor named Thomann (www.thomann.de).

  Greetings

  Andy

Re: Digest Number 348

So did anybody bite on this offer?

I'm interested because nothing has worked properly...I've tried the
Sounddiver adaption, midiox, and a few others. The closest was
Sounddiver, but it was really complex, and it lacked a lot of the
functions....although it had more then anything else did.

Let me know please! Thanks Mike.

You replied to who? Me? If so, the emails listed in my Yahoo account
are valid and working, so I'm not sure what happened.

If you're talking about Mike, then yeah I couldn't get hold of him
either.

Can anybody help?

Cheers!
