Need a CZ-1 Service Manual

Need a CZ-1 Service Manual

2009-09-03 by alatar2201

Hello all,

I see that there are copies of the CZ-1 Operator Manual on the web but no where can I find the service manual. If anyone has a copy or knows where I might download one, I would be very grateful. My CZ-1 is sick with a weak and varying output volume. So far no simple reason can be found. I need a service manual to delve further into it's guts.

Thanks,

Gary D.

Hi,

Sounds like a problem with the relay, that is grounding the output
until the machine is up and running. It's a common problem of the
synth, replacing or bypassing should solve it.

The CasioCZ1 group has the Service Manual in the files section.

Thank you "Summa" for the suggestion to replace or bypass the relay. That WAS the problem. I removed the relay entirely and jumped the board where the contacts connected. Works like a new one! Now I will search for a replacement relay while I play the synth.
