Casio FZ Samplers

I just checked and the preset waves sound in every menu except the MAIN one - so as soon as you have chosen a preset wave,it ought to sound on the keyboard. The LCD setting is not stored and needs to be reset every time you switch on ( as far as I know).
I am not aware of a factory reset,since there is nothing really to reset.

i tried sine and preset waves selct random,saw,etc then escape then play keys but no sound from headphone jack or mix output. is tgere a factory reset or midi settting that is causing no sound? also my settin*dont save when powered off my lcd needs to be asjusted again . i have searched but cant seem to find any info on this. i just got the fz today i trased a gameboy and palm pilot for it ,! i tried the display when powering up and checked out  the lcd and disk drive routines. i also am able to for at floppy.didnt come with sample disk though..thanks for any help
