Hi,
Finally got round to getting the parts and hooking up my FZ20m to SCSI.
I have assembled all the parts (SCSI2SD v5 adaptor and case) and fired it up.

The board has been flashed to latest firmware
The SD card (2gb) is set to be seen as 100mb and thats all have set in the utility software as i quite frankly don't understand anythig else on the program..

I have managed to format the SD from the FZ (took about 10 seconds light flashing on the SCSI2SD board)
I apear to have copied the HDD operator software to the SD card so no longer need the floppy to make it work, so far so good!
Then i loaded up a floppy with some samples and also seemed to have saved them to the SD card..

Thing is, i can't load anything from the SD card. The options i have are:

HDD Save
HDD Format
FDD Load
FDD Merge
Option Copy

Anybody know what's going on here? or am i being a real spazz?

Just use the SCSI2SD as a standard hard disk so the Save HDD option should work for you.

Is it not the load function which is not working and save is?

Hi, Thanks for the replies!

I can't find an option to load.. So i can't test if the samples did save correctly. I don't need to HDD Operator floppy now, so something has worked.
On the FZ, all I have is:

HDD Save
HDD Format
FDD Load
FDD Merge
Option Copy

Care to upload that software to the group's file section? It certainly 
needs to be preserved.

Copying it from SD card should be easier than making a 360rpm 3.5" disk 
dump (which would at least require a patched drive or some more 
elaborate reader like Kryoflux).

Ok, so i have worked it out... Mixture of user error and poor OS layout imo!
The HDD load option is only available in the play menu, not a menu i have ever used to load anything ever. But save is still only in HDD operator menu. But whatever, it works and i'm happy!

Yes i can upload the FL-D1 disk here.

It has

HDD Operator
Wave Synth (The 10m and 20m will load internally created patches without this, nice!)
Loopoptimize
Fadeoptimize
Copy Disk

Do i need any specific software to get it off the card? As you can tell i'm a real expert at this stuf....

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
