I spoke with Dave in sales at Basic Micro. They do not even have an alpha version of the data sheet for the Pro 28-M (module). I'm going to talk to the engineer, Nathan in charge of the 28-M project. He should be able to clarify what the pin assignments are, and also, how they have the EEPROM tied into the H8 chip, and the access methods for the EEPROM. My guess is that it is tied to the I2C bus, which means the pullup resistors should be on the 28-M module. This does place a small limit on the I2C addresses available. So progress continues, albeit with some unavoidable delays.
