USB adapters

I've read in the BasicMicro forums and have had emails from other users who have had trouble with USB to Serial adapters in programming the AtomPro processors.
I believe the adapters that are compatible use the Prolific PL-2303 chipset. I just updated a second Windows XP computer and both of my adapters show in Device Manager as "ATEN USB to Serial Bridge".
The Iogear GUC232A adapter is compatible with the AtomPro processor on my Windows XP computer.
The Aluratek AUS100 is NOT compatible (can't interface to the processor).
Hope this saves someone some grief.
