Dave Smith Instruments SYNTHESIZERS

Hey, I'm triggering my Evolver from the seq on a Yamaha RS7000. 
That's all good but I have one niggling issue... when I start the 
sequence from the RS7K it also triggers the step sequencer on Evolver 
and I have to hit the seq button on Evolver to stop it. Is there an 
evolver setting to stop this happening or is it something I need to 
change on the RS?
