Dave Smith Instruments SYNTHESIZERS

Hi people,
   I love my evolver (00706). it's my first  synth and first piece of 
"outboard" gear (aside from my Yahmaha CBXK-1 midi controller 
via 2x2 motu fastlane) but i'm having difficulty  getting  sounds to  
either platform (logic 5 and protools LE5).  i have all the midi 
settings on the Evolver set to ALL  and Midi interface  lights up 
when i rotate any of the knobs (OMS studio says "midi received"
when i twist a knob too). but when i start a sequence i get 
nothing - and no lights on the midi interface. what gives? thank 
you for your attention. I hate to bother Dave but going through my 
M-Box ain't what it's all about. Thanks again - Great site!
